Hamakua Marsh & Kokocrater Botanical Garden - December 8, 2020

Yup, we are here when the sun rose at 7:00 am, per our fearless leader Derek. We are his tagalongs.

Before we got out of the car, I decided to call the chickens. Celia was laughing and did a video my antics.

This one is hilarious. We think it was a female heron. cuz it looks so ugly.

But she was on a mission to make a nest.

Did you get dizzy? I did for sure.

We were surprised with how many stilts there were.

Don't laugh too hard, now for the ducks

Not to be overlooked, there were coots.

I am needing a break from those birds

The bees were also busy

By 8:30, we said  good by to Derek and headed to Koko Crater Botanical Garden

And that's all folks.
