Sunrise at Halona Blow Hole - January 8, 2021

My alarm went off at 6:00 am to start my journey to Halona Blow Hole to view and photograph today's sunrise at 7:10 am.

I was greeted by this Waning Cresent Moon in the cool ocean breeze.

The BLUE HOUR begins when the sun is -6 to -4 degrees from the horizon.

As the sun gets to -4 to 6 degrees from the horizon the GOLDEN HOUR begins.

At last, Here comes the SUN!!!

In the distance, I'm pretty sure, is the Island of Moloka`i

The rays of the sun lighting up the sky.

I enjoyed the cool morning. Despite few clouds on the horizon, I was able to capture the rising sun as it rose above the clouds. I saw a few tourist and locals and was glad all were wearing their face masks.
