This was an impromptu photo shoot with Celia and me at Kaka`ako Waterfront. We were attempting to capture silhouettes for a photography class assignment. After shooting for silhouettes, we decided to watch and photograph the sunset. It was a perfect opportunity to see if we would be able to get a photograph of the GREEN FLASH. With no clouds above the horizon, did we succeed? Check out the sunset sequence and you tell me. Hmmm?
Ahh this is the life!!!
Waiting for a strike.
Huh? You calling me?
OK I'm ready to go.
Wait!!!
O darn I'm going home now.
I am crossing my fingers and hoping to see a green flash and to capture it.
Can you see the GREEN FLASH?
The GREEN FLASH cropped from the previous photo. Two Japanese tourists, mother and daughter, were next to us speaking in Japanese and saying repeatedly green, green. Celia assumed they were referring to the green flash so we decided to share that we were able to get it. When we showed them our photographs they cheered, clapped and was jumping for joy. The mother was so happy and excited that she gave Celia hugs. How cute!!!

Blue Light
I was overjoyed, this being the first time, I was able to photograph the Green Flash.
