Super Flower Blood Moon Eclipse - May 25-26, 2021

The night sky was clear with hardly any cloud cover to speak of, so I decided to stay at home to shoot the Super Flower Blood Moon lunar Eclipse. All photos were taken from my driveway with the camera mounted on a tripod.

The first three photos are the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse

First time shooting a lunar eclipse. Not the sharpest of photos but was fun playing with the camera settings. The next lunar eclipse will be a partial eclipse visible from Hawaii at 7:00 pm on November 18, 2021.

Below are photos of the Super Full Moonrise on May 26, 2021 that I taken at the Lanai Lookout . I arrived at the lookout at about 6:45pm and the moonrise is scheduled to start at 7:55pm

Car trail lights in the area of the shooting range.

The moonrise will start in this direction.

The upper clouds started blocking the moon.

The clouds were scattered on and above the horizon but I stayed to get whatever shots I could of the moonrise. Got to the Lanai lookout at about 6:45pm and left at 8:30pm.
