Lyon Arboretum - August 29, 2022

 Aside from the humidity, heat and hungry mosquitoes, today was a fun day for a photo shoot. Daniel, Natalie, Wes, Derek, Bob and I made up our group. We went trekking thru some little used paths to make things interesting in hopes of finding new plants and  flowers. As indicated earlier lots of hungry mosquitoes were around us for most of the day.

 At the end of the photo shoot Natalie, Daniel and I were talking stories of our various trips to foreign     countries. As we started a discussion on the type of foods that we've experienced on these trips we suddenly started to feel hungry so we went to Manoa Marketplace and ended up eating Vietnamese Pho at Pho Vet Thien Hong. The food was great but the company was better.

Waikiki Aquarium August 24, 2022

 It was a great day to be outdoors. I arrived at Waikiki Beach at 8:15am and strolled around and took photographs of some of the action around the aquarium. I met Natalie, Derek and Wes in front of the Waikiki Aquarium where we waited for it to open. Thank you Natalie for providing us with FREE PASSES to the aquarium.

Today was very challenging in our attempt to photograph the fishes because of the low light conditions and refracting light off the glass. It was also unfortunate that the large shark tank was being cleaned, making it difficult to photograph fishes in the tank, the water was cloudy. Aside from the challenges it was a fun day.
