Foster Botanical Garden August 17, 2021

I finally got out for a photo shoot at Foster Botanical Garden with Celia, Derek, Wes and Milton. Just being outdoors with Mother Nature invigorates the body. I got to get out more often. The morning was a little humid but the slight breeze kept us cool. 

While waiting for the gate to open I decided to get some BIF action.

I could not resist the many poses of the Bird of Paradise.

Jupiter and Perseids Meteor Shower August-12-2021

Since the skies were clear I thought I'd give astrophotography a try.

Seems like this may be a photo of the Perseids Meoeor Shower. Photo taken at 2.5 sec f 5.6 iso 3200

All photographs were taken between 12:00am and 2:45am with a Nikon D610 and a Nikkor 28-300mm  telephoto lens .

I may try another  attempt of photographing Jupiter and the Perseids Meteor Shower using my Sigma 150-600mm.
