Just got my Nikon D610 back from repairs, so I thought of testing it out photographing the sunrise this morning at Halona, Blow Hole. Sunrise was at 7:04 am then on to Koko Crater Botanical Garden.

Not much action going on in todays shoot. Hardly anyone at Blow Hole lookout and Koko Crater Botanical Garden and only a few plumerias on the trees. Still I had a good walk today.

The Beaver Full Moon with the Partial Lunar Eclipse - November 17-2021

 The sky was clear and the moon was visible and spectacular.

Photographing this eclipse was very challenging. The moon was almost straight up making it difficult for manual focusing. 

Thank you Walter for selling me one of your tripod which I used for this photo shoot. It was sturdy enough to handle the Sigma 150-600 mm telephoto lens.

The next lunar eclipse will be a Partial Lunar Eclipse on May 15-16, 2022, at 4:11am which will be visible in Hawaii. Then on November 7-8, 2022 we will  experience a Total Lunar Eclipse visible in Hawaii at 12:59am.
